We are not a regulator
AccuSights is a private company. We hold no regulatory authority, we are not an auditor, and we are not a certifying or accrediting body. Nothing on this site is an approval, an endorsement or an official determination, and nothing here is issued on behalf of any authority. Naming a regulator, a standard or a national programme on this site describes what that body has published. It does not imply any relationship with it.
The regulator, the auditor or the certifying body decides
Whether your organisation complies is decided by the regulator that covers you, by your auditor, or by the body that certifies you. Not by us, and not by anything you read here. Our tools, maps and reports are an orientation to help you prepare and to help you ask better questions. They are not legal advice, not regulatory advice and not an audit opinion. Before you act on anything here, read the regulator's own publication and take advice from your own advisers.
We describe what is published, and nothing else
Every requirement, date and framework version on this site is drawn from a public source, and we carry the link and the date we last checked it. Where the published language is unsettled or a programme has no published timetable, we say that plainly instead of guessing. We do not speculate about how any authority will act, we do not describe enforcement, and we do not name any organisation as vulnerable, breached or non-compliant.
Read-only, and only with your written authorisation
The AccuSights compliance agent observes and reports. It connects with read-only access that you grant, it gathers control and evidence status, and it changes nothing. It does not remediate, it does not act on your behalf, and it does not hold administrative control of anything you run. We never test, scan, probe or access a third party's systems, and we never touch your own systems outside a written authorisation that names the scope, the systems, the window and the people. Supplier and vendor work runs on questionnaires, on evidence the supplier gives us and on public information. It never runs on touching the supplier.
